WHAT IS BLINGIRL?

Blingirl is a business based on embellishing women's clothing and accessories with regular crystals.  Swarovski crystals are also available upon request.  Personalized, custom pieces are my specialty.

HOW ARE THE TOPS EMBELLISHED AND ARE THEY PERMANENT?

A stencil template is built for each project using crystals in different shapes, sizes and colors.  It is then attached to the top using heat press.  Yes!  It is permanent.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO BE FILLED?

Please allow 1-2 weeks for order completion and deliver/pick-up.  During holiday seasons, completion times may be longer.

HOW DO I ORDER AND WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE READY?

Just contact me with your ideas and I will brainstorm suggestions with you.  Pricing is pre-determined in advance and payment is due upon ordering.  When your order is ready (usually 1-2 weeks) I will contact you and we can discuss pick-up options.  Shipping is also an option.

Deliveries will only be made to hostess' homes on scheduled dates. 

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DOES BLINGIRL ACCEPT?

Mastercard, Visa, Checks and Cash

Payment is due upon order placement.

HOW IS PRICING FIGURED?

Each project's price is based on an estimated number of crystals used.  The average project takes 150-200 crystals costing .10 to .29 each, depending on size and color.

HOW CAN I KEEP THE PRICE DOWN?

1) Choose to use the "regular" crystal .vs. Swarovski.

2) When ordering special orders use silver (clear) crystals on a colored top.  Colored crystals cost 20% more.  The silver crystal (the most brilliant) looks great on white or light colored fabrics too (except grey).

WHAT GARMENTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Blingirl carries American Apparel short sleeve blank tops in black.

You are welcome to provide your own tops for embellishing.  I recommend providing your own tops if you are unfamiliar with the sizing of my American Apparel tops.

A limited supply of black, blue, red and white blank tops in various styles are also available for purchase.

WHICH TYPES OF FABRICS WORK BEST?

Cotton or 90% cotton blends work best.  On these types of fabric, the crystals adhere very well.  Denim and other ribbed fabrics (such as cap fabrics) are difficult to embellish and are therefore considered less reliable.

WHAT IS THE GARMENT CARE AFTER EMBELLISHMENT?

I recommend washing garments inside out on gentle cycle and line drying.  Do not iron image.  Crystals may shift with applied heat.

WHAT ABOUT RETURNS?

There are no returns on special orders or jewelry/accessory items.  Pre-stocked tops may be exchanged within 1 week of purchase, but must be in original, unworn condition.

WHY IS THERE A HEART ON THE BACK NECKLINE OF MY EMBELLISHED TOP?

That is my symbol and verification of my creation.  Items with that symbol are guaranteed and I will gladly replace any crystals that may fall off.
